Reading in May was sparse once again, but now that summer is here, I have a feeling my reading will be picking up quite a bit! Here’s what I’ve been reading lately:

61: Someday, Someday, Maybe – Lauren Graham

62: Dead Ever After – Charlaine Harris

63: The Truth-Teller’s Lie – Sophie Hannah

All three books I read in May were VERY good! I’m hoping I can keep my good streak going this month and pick out some good ones again!

Well, I haven’t updated this in a while – whoops! Here’s what I’ve been reading for the past two months. It’s not as much as usual, thanks to our incredibly busy schedule lately, but summer is on the horizon and I have a feeling I’ll be flying through books then!

56. Twins – Caroline B. Cooney (This book was ridiculous. Don’t read it.)

57. Arena One: Slaverunners – Morgan Rice (Also awful. I barely made it through this one.)

58. Walking Disaster – Jamie McGuire (The sequel to one of my FAVORITE BOOKS EVER, Beautiful Disaster. These books are cheesy and teenage-angsty, but I adore them.)

59. Never Let Me Go – Kazuo Ishiguro

60. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest – Ken Kesey

A little late, but here are the books I read in February!

And, um, sadly that’s all I made it through in February. I got sick towards the end of the month so I didn’t do much working out, which is when I read the most. Hopefully I’ll make it through a few more this month!

Well it’s the end of the first year of my 101 in 1,001 and I’ve met my personal challenge to read 52 books in 1 year…which also means I’m more than halfway done with this item on my list!

So I’ve somehow managed to fall incredibly behind on updating this list – whoops! So, I’m here to finish out the year with the rest of the books I’ve read!

39. The Host – Stephenie Meyer (I had already read this, but I re-read it because it’s fantastic!)

39. Beautiful Disaster – Jamie McGuire (This is a super cheesy romance-type book that I downloaded for less than $5.00 on Amazon, but it was AMAZING. I was obsessed with it and almost read it again immediately after I finished it. I have a soft spot in my heart for this kind of book.)

40. The Kill Order (Maze Runner Prequel) – James Dashner

41. Life As We Know It (The Last Survivors) – Susan Beth Pfeffer

42. There’s a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell – Laurie Notaro

43. Gone Girl – Gillian Flynn

44. Notorious Nineteen – Janet Evanovich

45. Eat Cake – Jeanne Ray

46. Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West – Gregory Maguire

47. Reached – Ally Condie

Whew – all caught up! I have a bit of a side goal to finish at least 52 books in the first year (which would obviously put me way ahead of schedule, but that’s not a bad thing!) of the 1,001 days. I started this in February, which puts me a bit behind – I have about a month to read 5 books…not sure I’ll actually get that done, but it’s a good goal, right?
